MK Stalin initiates DMK party restructuring following election defeat
Several months following the DMK's defeat in the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls against the new party TVK, president MK Stalin has sanctioned nine resolutions aimed at revamping the party's structure. These changes introduce age caps for specific roles, including a 45-year limit for Branch Committee Secretaries. Furthermore, to encourage new leadership, officials will now be restricted to serving in their organisational positions for a maximum of two years.
