Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has directed the appointment of MK Sinha as the fresh intelligence chief for Jammu and Kashmir. MK Sinha, an IPS officer from the 1996 batch, assumed his new role as Additional Director General of the CID for J&K Police this Friday. He replaces Nitish Kumar, who has moved to the position of ADGP for the Armed Police in J&K. Previously, MK Sinha also held the post of IGP Jammu in 2018.
