Microsoft swaps OpenAI and Anthropic models for its own in Office apps: Report

The company is reportedly utilizing its own Microsoft AI (MAI) models to handle a portion of user prompts across these applications. This shift follows Microsoft's announcement last month of seven new MAI models, which include a tool designed for agentic coding.
