Metropolitan Opera in New York holds unique auditions for snakes
The Metropolitan Opera in New York recently held a unique casting call for snakes to feature in an upcoming performance of Mozart's Così fan tutte. According to reports, a yellow-peach sun-glow boa constrictor named Princess landed the lead role on a trial basis. Meanwhile, a smaller brown boa constrictor named Nala was chosen as the understudy. Princess is set to join rehearsals ahead of her scheduled stage appearance.
