Meta has provided a response following a notice from the central government concerning paid Instagram advertisements in India that were accused of promoting child sexual abuse content. The company stated that it is completely false to claim they would intentionally display ads involving children to users based on improper interests. Furthermore, Meta noted that they have taken down 1,60,000 accounts suspected of violations in India during the last six months.
