MeitY to Form 20-Firm AI Panel for Government IT Modernization
The IT ministry is planning to establish a group of up to 20 technology companies. This initiative aims to modernize existing government IT systems by incorporating artificial intelligence. The proposed group will include 10 firms from the general category and 10 startups and MSMEs. The selected companies will undertake project-specific tasks for various government bodies, such as ministries, state governments, PSUs, and other agencies, with assignments issued through NICSI work orders.
