Meghalaya government cites bizarre wig-related murder case to oppose Sonam Raghuvanshi's bail

Representing the Meghalaya administration, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta highlighted a rise in such incidents during the bail hearing for Sonam Raghuvanshi. Citing the alleged killing of Ketan Agarwal, Mehta noted, "Recently, a woman killed her husband (fiancée) because he was wearing a wig." Despite these arguments, the Supreme Court declined to revoke the bail previously awarded to Raghuvanshi, who is accused of murdering her husband while on their honeymoon.
