Meet Yang Zhilin, the mind behind Moonshot AI's Kimi K3

Yang Zhilin serves as the CEO and co-founder of Moonshot AI, the Chinese firm that developed the Kimi K3 model to challenge the leading AI systems globally. He earned his doctorate in machine learning at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States, where he also held internships at Meta and Google Brain. Even with a job opportunity from Apple on the table, Yang decided to head back to China.
