Meet Shubham Juyal: The Indian Army soldier who secured shot put silver at the 2026 CWG

Lance Naik Shubham Juyal of the Indian Army earned a silver medal in the men's shot put event during the 2026 Commonwealth Games. Juyal started his structured para-athletics training in June 2023 and was subsequently designated as an "Icon Player" by the Paralympics Committee of India. Additionally, he achieved a gold medal win at the 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix.
