The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust has named Krishna Mohan, a 73-year-old retired IFS officer from the Maharashtra cadre and a member of the Dalit community, as its interim general secretary. Mohan, who hails from Hardoi in Uttar Pradesh, initiated the police complaint that resulted in an FIR regarding the reported theft of donations at the temple site. Beyond his diplomatic career, he has served in the Department of Atomic Energy and has been associated with the RSS since 2012.
