MEA: India not involved in Sheikh Hasina's press event, does not support her remarks
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal clarified that India played no part in the private media briefing held by former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Delhi. He stated that the government does not back any comments made during the event, particularly those concerning the current administration in Bangladesh. Previously, Bangladesh had expressed significant disappointment that New Delhi allowed the August 5 gathering to take place.
