MEA explains why Telangana CM's US trip was rejected
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has clarified why it did not grant political clearance for Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to travel to the United States. Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal explained, "The programme proposed, in such cases, should be appropriate to the office held and the purpose of the visit. In this particular case, that was not so." However, the MEA did approve the Chief Minister's planned visit to the United Kingdom.
