MCD mandates sealing of illegal buildings over four floors following fatal PG collapse
Following the collapse of a five-storey paying guest accommodation in Delhi's Satya Niketan that left six dead and several others injured, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) issued an order on Sunday to immediately seal all unauthorized structures exceeding four floors. Delhi Mayor Pravesh Wahi stated that any officials found responsible for negligence will be subjected to severe consequences, which may include termination from service.
