Travel along NH-2 and NH-37 had been disrupted by blockades following the outbreak of ethnic violence in May 2023. Additionally, officials confirmed that the Imphal-Dimapur bus route, which uses NH-2 and was previously suspended because of these obstructions, will now resume operations.
