Man who attacked Sukhbir Badal identified as Jaspal Singh, told police he 'felt like it'

Jaspal Singh has been identified as the Nihang Sikh taken into custody for assaulting former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal in Maharashtra. The man, who is in his mid-60s and serves as a volunteer at the Takht Sri Hazur Sahib Gurudwara, reportedly told authorities that he simply felt like carrying out the attack.
