Man, 69, held for cheating over 300 luxury hotels nationwide over 36 years
Bingson John, a 69-year-old from Tamil Nadu, was taken into custody in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, for reportedly swindling more than 300 high-end hotels throughout India during a 36-year span. According to law enforcement, John would pretend to be a yoga teacher, English tutor, or international tour guide to access hotel services before fleeing without settling his bills. He reportedly stated that his actions were influenced by the criminal career of Charles Sobhraj.
