National Film Award-winning director Mahesh Bhatt has declared his retirement from directing films. The 77-year-old filmmaker had previously returned to the director's chair after a 20-year hiatus with his 2020 movie 'Sadak 2'. Speaking on his retirement, Bhatt stated, "Content is pre-decided. Before you even begin writing, you already know what kind of film has to be made." He is widely recognized for directing films such as 'Tamanna', 'Saaransh', 'Sadak', and 'Duplicate'.
