Maharashtra: Women accused of threatening taxi driver with fake harassment claim

In Kalyan, two women reportedly tried to extort ₹10,000 from a cab driver. When the driver denied their demand, they allegedly tore their own clothes. Rather than yielding to the extortion, the driver, identified as Shendge, contacted the police and headed straight for the station. Upon noticing a police car nearby, the women jumped out of the moving vehicle and escaped.
