Maharashtra government rules out sending team to talk to Manoj Jarange
The Maharashtra administration has resolved against dispatching a delegation to engage with Maratha reservation campaigner Manoj Jarange-Patil, as his fast-unto-death reaches day 11. Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil stated that if Jarange-Patil chooses to stay firm in his position, that is his own decision. The activist is currently on an indefinite hunger strike, calling for Marathas to be granted OBC reservation status and Kunbi caste certificates.
