Maharashtra FDA raids Navi Mumbai dairy, confiscates 4,710 litres of synthetic milk
Officials from the Maharashtra FDA conducted raids at PK Dairy, located in the Mahape MIDC zone of Navi Mumbai, where they seized and subsequently destroyed 4,710 litres of tainted milk worth approximately ₹1.86 lakh. Investigations revealed the counterfeit product was created by mixing skimmed milk powder with chilled water and had already been distributed to retailers across Thane and surrounding regions. Authorities have filed an FIR against 15 people and businesses involved.
