Maharashtra FDA cancels licences of 3 food outlets; samosas kept by drain
According to an NDTV Profit report, the Maharashtra FDA has revoked the food licences for Delhi Sweet and Bhelpuri House in Malad West, Mumbai, Gulzar Mohammadi Hotel in Kurla West, and a Blinkit outlet in Akola. During an inspection at Delhi Sweet and Bhelpuri House, authorities discovered samosas being kept in close proximity to a drain, while also noting the use of unfiltered water for both food preparation and consumption. Meanwhile, inspectors identified poor sanitary conditions in the kitchen at Gulzar Mohammadi Hotel.
