Madras High Court: Wife not required to follow husband everywhere like Vodafone pug
During a matrimonial case hearing, the Madras High Court remarked that a wife should not be expected to act like the dog from the famous Vodafone commercials. The court noted that it is not always practical for a husband to bring his wife along wherever he goes. Consequently, the court overturned a family court's decision which had ruled that a husband failed his marital duties by relocating to a different city for his job.
