Madras High Court permits Tamil Nadu government to hire kin of Karur stampede victims
On Friday, the Madras High Court granted permission to the Tamil Nadu administration to offer employment to the families affected by the Karur stampede, just ahead of Chief Minister Vijay's visit. The court specified that these job placements are temporary and will be contingent upon a future judicial review. CM Vijay is set to visit the relatives of the individuals who lost their lives during the stampede, which occurred at a TVK rally in September.
