Madras High Court faces four pleas against CM Vijay's Perambur victory
The Madras High Court has received four separate election petitions contesting the victory of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay in the Perambur constituency. Among those challenging the result are his opponents and DMK figures RD Shekar and Inigo Irudayaraj, who filed two of the petitions, while local voters submitted the remaining two. Vijay had participated in the assembly polls as a candidate for both Perambur and Trichy East.
