Libya issues emergency alert following drone attack on Zawiya refinery
Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a state of maximum emergency following a third drone strike on the Zawiya refinery in just two days. The latest hit targeted a storage tank holding approximately 4.5 million litres of gasoline, leading to its collapse. Although there were no reports of major injuries, the NOC cautioned that it might be forced to suspend operations at the facility if the strikes persist.
