Lawyers appeal to CJI to locate former Madras HC judge missing in Nepal floods
The Delhi Tamil Advocates Association has requested Chief Justice Surya Kant to assist in finding former Madras High Court judge and Supreme Court Senior Advocate V Sivagnanam, who is missing after floods in Nepal. According to the association, Sivagnanam was on a trip with pilgrims from Tamil Nadu and had last spoken to his wife on August 26. Reports indicate that the number of fatalities from the flooding has surpassed 780.
