Lakshya Sen moves into second round of BWF World Championships
Indian badminton player Lakshya Sen successfully cleared his first-round hurdle against Austria's Collins Valentine Filimon at the BWF World Championships held in New Delhi. Although Lakshya dropped the opening game 16-21, he bounced back strongly to claim the following two games 21-8 and 21-4, defeating the 128th-ranked Filimon. In the Round of 32, Lakshya is set to compete against Garret Tan from the USA, who is currently ranked 92nd in the world.
