Ladakh to introduce India's inaugural snow leopard safari
Ladakh is getting ready to introduce the country's first high-altitude wildlife safari, which will focus on guided tours for birdwatching and spotting snow leopards. This project aims to control tourist vehicle movement in ecologically sensitive zones, such as key wildlife corridors and sanctuaries. To promote sustainable tourism, 20 local youth will be trained in tracking wildlife, and specific viewing spots will be established.
