Krishna Priya makes history as Munnar's first female SHO
Idukki native and 2024-batch Sub-Inspector (SI) Krishna Priya Unni has officially become the first woman to lead the Munnar Police Station as its Station House Officer (SHO). The 28-year-old stepped into the position following the transfer of the station's former Principal SI. Having previously worked in Kannur, Krishna Priya noted that ensuring law and order in a prominent tourist hub such as Munnar will be a demanding task.
