Koo co-founder closes PicSee, plans to refund investors
Mayank Bidawatka, the co-founder of the social media site Koo, has closed his new startup, PicSee, according to a Moneycontrol report. The photo-sharing platform struggled to find a market, secure a buyer, or build a user base. Having raised between ₹30-35 crore, the company intends to return roughly 60-65% of that funding to its backers. Bidawatka previously shut down Koo in July 2024, citing similar difficulties in finding a product-market fit.
