Filmmaker Kiran Rao, the former wife of Aamir Khan, has come out in support of activist Sonam Wangchuk. Wangchuk is currently on the 20th day of a hunger strike protesting reported irregularities in the NEET-UG 2026 examination. Rao has called on the government to initiate a dialogue with the demonstrators. In a message to Wangchuk, Kiran stated that the country owes him a debt of gratitude for waking people from their indifference and highlighting the importance of every individual voice.
