Key details of India's inaugural hydrogen-powered train
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched India's first hydrogen train this Friday, which is set to run on the route connecting Jind and Sonipat in Haryana. With a 10-coach configuration, it stands as one of the longest hydrogen-powered passenger trains built to date. The locomotive is equipped with a 1,200 kW hydrogen fuel cell system and is capable of reaching speeds of 75 kmph.
