Kerala's Kudumbashree achieves ₹44 crore in Onam sales
Kudumbashree, the women-driven poverty alleviation mission in Kerala, generated a total revenue of ₹44.89 crore via its Onam sales events conducted across the state between August 20 and 25. This figure marks an increase of ₹4.45 crore compared to the ₹40.44 crore recorded during the previous year. Female farmers contributed ₹10 crore to this total through the sale of vegetables and flowers. Additionally, the festival period saw a significant rise in product movement via the organization's Pocketmart digital platform.
