A one-and-a-half-year-old boy named Ashar Kris from Mavelikkara passed away after he accidentally tumbled into a waterlogged paddy field close to his residence. The young child had been standing by the field alongside his grandfather when he slipped into the water. It is reported that the grandfather was unaware of the fall, and the toddler's body was found roughly an hour afterward.
