A man working in a rubber plantation in Chemboor, Kerala, had a lucky escape after encountering a seven-foot-long python while trimming brush. He noticed the reptile just in time and managed to leap out of the way as it struck at him. Residents informed the Forest Department, and a professional snake catcher arrived to secure the python. The animal was subsequently turned over to the authorities.
