Kejriwal distances party from convicted former councillor Tahir Hussain
Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has distanced his party from former councillor Tahir Hussain, who was recently found guilty of murdering Intelligence Bureau official Ankit Sharma during the 2020 riots. Kejriwal stated that they had removed Hussain from the party a long time ago, questioning if he had not joined a sister organization of a 'chanda chor' party. It is worth noting that after his suspension from AAP, Hussain ran as a candidate for the AIMIM in the 2025 Delhi assembly elections.
