Karnataka teacher sends blood-written letter to demand school funding
A teacher based in the Shivamogga district of Karnataka has penned a letter using his own blood to Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa, requesting financial support for Kannada-medium institutions. The educator, identified as Prashanth, stated that his school in Shikaripura, which has been operating for 31 years, is at risk of shutting down because of a shortage of funds. He has called upon the state government to include Kannada-medium schools established after 1995 in the grant-in-aid program.
