Karnataka High Court criticizes police for arresting activist over Kunal Kamra show post
The Karnataka High Court has reprimanded Bengaluru's Whitefield Police for the arrest of activist Mohan Gowda, who was taken into custody following a Facebook post that cheered the cancellation of a show by comedian Kunal Kamra. Authorities had initiated the case on their own and even made a trip to Udupi at 2 am to carry out the arrest. During the proceedings, the court commented, "The police constable gets concerned about the imaginary disharmony overnight."
