Karnataka HC grants bail to Congress leader Vinay Kulkarni and 8 others in 2016 BJP leader murder case
The Karnataka High Court has provided bail to former minister and Congress leader Vinay Kulkarni along with eight co-accused in connection with the 2016 killing of BJP member Yogesh Goudar. The court also put a hold on the life imprisonment sentences previously handed down by a special CBI court while their appeals are being processed. Kulkarni had been taken into custody following the BJP's rise to power, after the investigation into the matter was transferred to the CBI in 2019.
