Karnataka: Forest officials rescue elephant stuck in railway barriers

On Wednesday, the forest department saved a wild elephant that had become wedged between railway barricades in Ramanagara, Karnataka. According to residents, the elephant gave up and laid down after several failed efforts to break free. Forest personnel eventually managed to rescue the animal and led it safely back to the adjacent forest area.
