Kangra halts adventure sports for two months due to monsoon
The Tourism Department has prohibited all adventure sports in Kangra from July 15 to September 15. This seasonal ban is in place to prioritize the safety of both tourists and service providers during the monsoon. Consequently, paragliding activities at Bir-Billing and Indrunag are currently grounded. Vinay Dhiman, the Deputy Director of Tourism, warned that any operators who ignore these instructions will face firm disciplinary action.
