July GST revenue climbs to ₹2.11 lakh crore, a 14-month peak
In July, India saw its Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue jump by 15.4% compared to the previous year, reaching ₹2.11 lakh crore. This represents the most significant growth seen in over a year. The surge is largely attributed to a notable rise in import-related earnings along with consistent gains in domestic transactions. Additionally, GST refunds grew by 13.1%, moving from ₹26,495 crore last year to ₹29,968 crore this July.
