He served as a chemical technician, handling quality control duties during 12-hour rotating shifts. Once 13-year-old Lionel was offered a chance at Barcelona, Jorge resigned from his position, relocated to Spain, and dedicated himself to managing his son's professional journey. Jorge died on Friday night at the age of 68.
