John Ternus appointed as Apple CEO, succeeding Tim Cook

Tim Cook has officially vacated his role as Apple CEO on August 31, ending his 15-year tenure. Starting today, John Ternus is taking over leadership of the company. In a message shared a day prior to the handover, Cook stated, "My title changes tomorrow, but the love I have for the Apple community never will." Cook, who took the helm from Steve Jobs in 2011, will now transition into the position of Executive Chairman.
