JNU teacher accused of seeking sexual favours for viva marks
According to a Hindustan Times report, a JNU professor is facing allegations from 11 students who claim he promised them additional marks in exchange for sexual favours during viva exams held in May. The university’s Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is currently looking into these accusations. It is worth noting that in April 2025, the JNU Executive Council terminated a faculty member following similar sexual harassment charges.
