Jharkhand minister assures no pellet guns against protesters, says most demands met
Addressing the ongoing demonstration by JPSC-JSSC candidates in Ranchi, Jharkhand Minister Deepika Pandey Singh promised that authorities would not resort to lathi-charges, tear gas, or pellet guns. She explained that the administration has accepted all student requests that fall under the state's jurisdiction. Deepika noted, however, that the students' primary demand to scrap the CGL exam cannot be met immediately as it is currently tied up in court-mandated proceedings.
