Jharkhand CM Soren scraps JSSC-CGL exam following student protests
In a major victory for students who had been protesting, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren declared that the cabinet has decided to call off the JSSC-CGL test. Additionally, he stated that the CID will launch an investigation into every exam conducted in the state from 2014 onwards. Soren also confirmed that all tests held by the TDPL are being cancelled. These moves follow demands from demonstrators for a CBI inquiry into claims of misconduct regarding recruitment exams.
