Jharkhand BJP agent arrested for filing 200 forms to remove minority voters, later released on bail

In Godda, Jharkhand, BJP Booth Level Agent (BLA) Vinay Kumar Mandal was taken into custody after an FIR was filed against him. He was accused of turning in approximately 200 Form 7 applications intended to strike minority voters from the electoral rolls. Mandal has since been granted bail. He stated that these documents were provided to him following a gathering of BJP booth agents.
