Japan's Sanae Takaichi felt 'lonely' after staff killed a cockroach at her house

Japanese politician Sanae Takaichi shared that she was startled by a cockroach in her home. While she was relieved once her staff removed the insect, she admitted to feeling a sense of sadness and loneliness afterward. Takaichi explained that she is unable to kill bugs herself because of her fondness for Osamu Tezuka's 'Firebird', a work that explores the concept of reincarnation.
