Jamshedpur FC has officially announced that it will no longer be part of the Indian Super League (ISL) starting with the 2026-27 season. The decision follows the club's failure to pay the initial ₹55-lakh installment required under the league's updated club-led structure. Since joining the ISL in 2017, the Tata Steel-owned team achieved success by winning the league title in the 2021-22 season. Despite this exit, the club's owners have committed to maintaining their focus on developing football at the grassroots level.
